The Why's that invade my thoughts and envisage. 
The Why's of my nightmares and of my daydreams.

Why did you leave me alone to face these empty
Days and long lonely nights?

The Why's keep spinning around in my head and my heart
In search of an answer, any answer, they continue to spin.
The Why's will keep spinning in search of a place to alight, 
Where answers might find them in this space and time.
But answers stay out of reach and the Why's just keep spinning.
