Everlasting

This life or the next, we often wonder
What our past, present, and future hold
To travel through each life existence
Striving to grow and evolve.
Continuing on through space and time
Our destiny yet to be told,
Learning the many lessons
As each new life unfolds.
To continually feed and nourish
The everlasting sacred soul.
We must learn each lesson given
To reach our final goal,
No beginning and no end
The cosmos we shall roam,
In search of true enlightenment
Till transition calls us home.
And once again we are reborn
If that is the path we've chosen
A never-ending cycle
Of life, death and rebirth,
The soul continues on.
Each life to live to grow and learn
To laugh to cry to love to hate
To forgive and be forgiven
Our karmic debt to erase.
